Are you our inaugural Reabold Hill King or Queen of the Mountain?

You’ll feel like royalty if you claim one of these titles!

The MSWA Ocean Ride has introduced an exciting new challenge in 2018.

70km and 100km riders will be timed, in a race of the fittest, to the top of Reabold Hill. At 85 metres, being the highest natural point on the Swan Coastal Plain in the metropolitan area, with sweeping views over the Indian Ocean, Perth and beyond, you’ll feel on top of the world.

Your timed climb could have you recognised as one of our fastest males and females; The Reabold Hill Kings and Queens Of the Mountain! Medals will be awarded for the following age categories (for both males and females), with the official presentations being made at the finish-line at 11am:

  • 18 - 29 year olds
  • 30 - 44 year olds
  • 45 - 59 year olds
  • 60 + year olds

It's important to note the following information for the Reabold Hill/Scenic Drive sector:

  • The King and Queen of the Mountain section is approx. 150 -200 metres up Scenic Drive.
  • The last rider permitted up the sector will be at 8:45am.
  • Any riders on location past 8:45am will not be permitted to climb, and will instead be required to continue along Oceanic Drive
